Present on the door step

I was sitting in the lab at work/home and I looked out the entrance to the clinic and thought I saw baby sitting on the door mat. Upon a closer look I realized this was not Baby but an impostor. It turns out a dog was camped out on our mat waiting for someone to come say hello. We still haven't figured out if someone dropped her off or if she found her way to our house. Either way, we are looking after her until we find the owner. She seems friendly but does not know any basic commands or at least will not listen to me yet. Of course there are no tags or markings. She is in her senior years by the looks of her and has a slight sag to left side of her face. This may indicate a stroke but there are no other signs so it may just be her natural good looks.
It's weird having another dog in the house that we don't know. She seems nice enough but you never know so we will keep her separated for know. Poor thing!
